Two adult Akitas have been reported missing from the Carson Drive area of Land O’ Lakes. The dogs, Mr. Poo and Ms. Tiger, are brother and sister and had been with their owner, Ken Copeland, for more than 12 years.
“I’m so sick over this whole affair,” said Copeland, adding that the dogs are “family” to him.
Mr. Poo is described as a white dog who weighs in at about 100 pounds. He has trouble walking. Ms. Tiger weighs about 90 pounds and has brindle coloring. She is “old and nervous,” Copeland said. Neither dog is aggressive, he added.
Anyone with information about the missing dogs is asked to call 813-909-2222.
Editor's note: We're getting reports that the telephone number isn't working. We are trying to find an alternative number to call. In the meantime, you can email Sherri.Lonon@patch.com with any information you might have on these missing dogs.

I believe we saw Mr. Poo, the white dog, Monday evening behind the old Goodwill. A man and woman stopped and the man had walked over to him, but the dog didn't run. We thought it was strange that the dog didn't run away. We asked the people if the dog was hurt and mentioned that the vet's office was nearby. They said they called and the vet's office was closed. I don't know if this was before he was missing, but he may be in the woods there between Carson and Goodwill.

Mr. Poo has been returned to his home, thanks to a pair of gods people, named Pam and Tom Brown. From there discription Mr. poo would not have lasted another night. With no strenght left and so close to home on what would have been his 8th day missing, the Brown's found my boy and took him home with the only thought being to help thi...s defenceless creature of God.
There are many types of riches in this world, but none shine so brightly as that of one human, selflessly reaching out to help another.
Tiger is still missing. I pray that she be found, and that together we can all find ourselves in the lords word. God Bless, Ken Copeland
