Here's the scoop for Wednesday, Jan. 26:
- Be prepared for anything - With highs in the upper 60s, today is expected to be nicer than yesterday. With mostly cloudy skies expected, it might pay to be prepared for rain just in case.
- You can learn to paint - The Land O' Lakes Branch Library, 2818 Collier Pky., offers a beginning acrylic painting class today from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Space is limited and registration is required, but some spots were open at last check.
- Check out a new place for lunch - If you're looking for something different, explore the Land O' Lakes Patch directory for lunch ideas. Ginza is a favorite for Patch contributor Yvette Manes. If Japanese isn't to your taste, the directory provides plenty of other options.
- Zumba - Dance your way into great shape during this weekly class at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex, 3032 Collier Pky. The class starts at 7 p.m.
- Kick back with coffee and music - A Cup of Organic features live music tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at 1900 Oak Grove Blvd.
