5 Things Includes Interior Design, Questionable Weather

What do you need to know today, April 28?

It’s Thursday, April 28, and the weekend is right around the corner. If you’re wondering what’s up today, here are five things to keep in mind:

  • Don’t forget your umbrella – Even though temperatures will again climb into the 90s, there’s a pretty good chance of rain today. It’s a good idea to bring along an umbrella just in case.
  • You can enjoy some time off – If you’re a mom in need of a break, the Moms Time Out group might be for you. It meets today at 9:45 a.m.
  • It’s a great day to network – The Christian Business Connections group meets this morning at 8.
  • You can share your insights – Land O’ Lakes Patch is your community hub for conversation and information. Become a part of it by sharing your knowledge as a blogger. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a business owner with expertise you’d like to share, a nonprofit representative with lots of news to get out or a retiree with opinions on local issues, we want to hear from you! Just email Sherri.Lonon@patch.com.
  • You can learn how to use color in your home Design Three Interiors plans two workshops today to teach area residents how to spruce up their homes. The first workshop runs from 2 to 3 p.m. and the second from 7 to 8 p.m.
