5 Things Includes Substance Abuse Prevention
State Rep. Will Weatherford will also visit Land O’ Lakes today.
It’s Tuesday, Sept. 27, and there are a lot of things going on in town today you might want to know about. If you’re wondering what’s up, here are five things to consider as you go about your day:
- Rain chances are less – If all goes well, you might not need your umbrella today. The National Weather Service is only calling for a 20 percent chance of rain. Still, the highs will climb into the 90s.
- You can help fight substance abuse – The Pasco County Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention meets today at 10 a.m. The group meets in Land O’ Lakes.
- You can meet Will Weatherford – State Rep. Will Weatherford, R-Wesley Chapel, will address the Republican Club of Central Pasco tonight. The meeting is open.
- You can prepare for a 10k run – Suncoast Running is offering an informational meeting on its upcoming 10k Training Program. While the program does cost money to join, the informational session is designed to let participants know what to expect.
- Your teen can get involved in the community – The Land O’ Lakes Library’s Teen Advisory Board meets tonight. This volunteer group helps the library with program planning and more.
