Aja Wiregrass Closes Down
The business filed for Chapter 11 recently, according to public records.
Land O' Lakes and Wesley Chapel residents now have one less nightlife option.
Aja Wiregrass —an upscale restaurant, sleek lounge and club—recently shuttered its doors at The Shops at Wiregrass. According to Pasco County records, the business filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year.
Attempts to reach ownership were unsuccessful.
Some considered Aja Wiregrass, with its glowing onyx bars and modern furniture, a welcome relief from the chain restaurants and pubs in the area. In addition to food, Aja Wiregrass hosted DJs, live music and guest appearances. Theme nights included Fantasy Fridays and Latin Wednesdays.
“It was a convenient location,” Sharon Smith wrote on New Tampa Patch's Facebook.
Some New Tampa Patch Facebook users got excited about the idea of Aja being replaced by Cheesecake Factory, but a Wiregrass marketing official told Patch she was unaware of the chain taking over that storefront.

There is no nightlife in LOL/WC area! This was a great venue to eat, drink and dance it's very unfortunate they had to file bankruptcy. I hope they get another similar business in that beautiful location! Some Latin flavor wouldn't hurt either!

this area is not fully populated so I think if we have more residency an replace aja with another club or somthing then it would be more successful just saying thank you!
