All Pasco Schools Summer Programs Resume Tuesday

All normal summer camps are scheduled to take place tomorrow, however the district continues to monitor the weather and will make adjustments, if necessary.

Pasco students enrolled in summer programs can look forward to a day of activity tomorrow. All summer programs will resume Tuesday, according to a district representative.

Most summer camps also were held Monday despite the weather, with the exception of the PEACE science camp.

"Throughout the day, there have been conversations with county emergency management officials to determine weather conditions. At this time, it is believed that the worst of the storm has passed. Therefore, we will resume all normal summer programs," district spokeswoman Summer Romagnoli said in an email.

"The safety of our students and staff is our primary concern. We will continue to monitor the weather and make adjustments if necessary,"  Romagnoli said.

Parents of students attending summer programs may wish to contact the Transportation Department tomorrow morning  at 727-774-0400 , 352-524-0400 or 813-794-0400 if they are experiencing significant flooding in their neighborhood and need further assistance.
