If you're looking for a cat that isn't afraid to play and snuggle, Apollo might be the critter you're looking for.

Apollo is an adult male domestic short hair cat who is estimated to be about 3 years old. He's described as very friendly by workers at Pasco County Animal Services in Land O’ Lakes. Apollo gets along well with other cats and has a curious streak that makes him fun to watch.

If you'd like to adopt Apollo, he costs $40, which includes a vet check and shots. Apollo does have two friends who have been around animal services a little longer than most cats. Hello and Tinkerbell are  on sale for only $20.

To find out about adopting Apollo or any of his four-legged friends, visit animal services, 19670 Dogpatch Lane. The shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday and Wednesday from noon to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from noon to 6:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:30 p.m. The center is closed on holidays. For more information, call 813-929-1212
