Are You a Nudist and Don't Know it?

First you have to define what a "Nudist" really is.

A few years back, while reading a copy of "The Bulletin," a monthly newspaper published by AANR (American Association for Nude Recreation), I found something interesting in an ad for AANR clothing.

Yes, we we do indeed wear clothing now and then for protection from the elements or to "fit in" to society's needs.

At any rate, there was one item I especially enjoyed. It was simply a T-shirt with a slogan that said: "I'm nude underneath my clothes."

If you think about it for just a moment, we ALL are Nudists under our clothes! The only difference is how you look at your reasons for wearing clothes in the first place.

No, this isn't a recruitment ad to try some cultist lifestyle. It is meant to help you look at yourself in the mirror to see if maybe you are a Nudist yourself beneath your clothes.

Have you ever been skinny dipping, even as a child? Have you ever undone your top to get a better tan in the backyard or on the beach, even if you were careful to lay on your stomach the whole time? Are you able to stand in front of a mirror after a shower completely nude while you shave or fix your hair? (There are some who even feel the need to cover up even when they're alone!)

If you are one of those "closet nudists" then you may be on your way to a life of true freedom. Being free of clothing can also free your spirit. Most true Nudists I know seem to share this thought more than any other when asked why they came to the lifestyle and stayed in it all these years.

The next step for you, if you want to satisfy your curiosity, is to give it a try in a safe and sane environment at any of the resorts here in Pasco County. Many have "Free First Visit" offers or discounts for certain days. You will encounter a friendly atmosphere, and a no-pressure attitude among the other members and staff.

Summer is a little quieter also so it's a good time to try it out if you're a little timid, and who knows, you may meet one of your neighbors!
