Black Friday Shopper Arrested After Line Cutting
The Land O’ Lakes woman is accused of creating a disturbance at an Orlando-area Walmart.
Black Friday shopping resulted in a trip to jail for one Land O’ Lakes woman who police say refused to go to the back of the checkout line.
According to TBO.com, Samantha Chavez, 28, of Land O’ Lakes now faces charges of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence after a late-night trip to the Altamonte Springs Walmart, 200 S. State Road 434.
Chavez, who was caught on camera by a fellow shopper, was asked by a police officer to follow the checkout flow. She agreed, TBO said, but turned around and tried bypass a line again.
After several warnings from the officer, Chavez started screaming. The officer then tried to escort Chavez from the store, but she began throwing items on the floor.
She was arrested and booked into the Seminole County Jail.
