Dems Plan to Crash Romney’s Party in Land O’ Lakes
Former Florida Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink will join teachers today outside Gov. Mitt Romney’s rally in Land O’ Lakes for a 4 p.m. press conference.
As former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney prepares to take the stage tonight inside Land O' Lakes High School's John Benedetto Stadium, Florida’s former Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink, teachers’ union members and other Democrats will gather outside for a 4 p.m. press conference.
“Participants will address the clear differences between the President Obama and Mitt Romney’s plans for our country, and highlight Mitt Romney’s hypocrisy of promising to cut funding for public education and teachers as he holds a rally at a public high school,” a media release from Obama for America – Florida said.
Members of the United School Employees of Pasco are organizing to stage a protest outside of Romney’s Rally. So are members of Students Against Romney, a grassroots group formed by a Land O’ Lakes High senior.
Romney’s plan to host a rally at the 20325 Gator Lane school has sparked controversy.
Detractors say the Pasco County School District violated its own policy by allowing Romney to speak. It had previously denied a request by Sink, then a gubernatorial candidate, to film a commercial at a Pasco school campus.
The school district, however, did grant Vice President Joe Biden access for a 2011 event at Oakstead Elementary School in Land O’ Lakes while he was stumping for support for the American Jobs Act.
Romney’s rally begins today, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. for ticketholders. To find out more about tickets, visit the Romney campaign online.

The trouble with school administration is that they expect teachers and employees to be consistent with our rules and procedures (with a hand slap if we do not) but they turn around and are hypocrites with their own "rules". They disregard them when they feel like it. What a lopsided approach.

I will wave at them as I drive past them to see and hear what our next President has to say!! Has anyone ever done any research on Alex Sink and her son Forrest from back in the 80's, THAT is a story in itself!! I think that is one story that has been swept under the rug, but I was there working in the neighborhood! Being who I am I will leave it at that!

\Sink is two time loser ( a three time loser if we include her husband) and yet she still sticks her nose into the news. Romney will take out the teachers unions ( I loved it that he said that in the debate!!!!). Just like my hero Ronald Reagan did the air traffic controllers...Lets get to the polls!!!!!!!

Reagan the Creator of trickle down economics trusting the corparates to develope a system that would give the a rising tide to the overall economy. Over time the greed set in and the patriotism of the job creators started to void only to be filled by personal greed. They used the greed money to pay the politicians make rules to further erode wages so much so that now it takes two in the family to have a desent way of life.reagan also taxed Social Security a few times and called it enhanced revenue. The family as we then new it was starting to disintergrade without an adult member at home while the other earner made ends meet.Reaganomics is the product we now have in frution. These GOPs do not understand Failure.

If you are so dissatisfied, why aren't you in front of the White House protesting? This administration has failed you, not someone who isn't even in office yet. You're protesting someone who brought schools to #1 in MA. Alex you might want to remember why you are "former" and not current.

This administration has made great strides in the last four years, the economy and housing markets are already GREATLY IMPROVED. Romney wants to slither in the White House, take credit for the recovery, then keep taxes low for his corporate donors. Don't let Romney buy this election, please get down there and be heard!

Hmmm the question here should be....do we want a President who wears magic underwear, pledges allegiance to Salt Lake City, who's ancestors left America so they could break the law and be polygamists and who believes that when he dies he will get his own planet and become a God? A man who keeps his money offshore and who pays less taxes than anybody I know? Oh yes and I forgot, who's church believes in posthumously baptising dead Jews and who doesn't really care too much for african americans....or that Adam is God? Well I guess people don't seem to care because what a man believes has nothing to do with how well he could screw us all over? Any sane Christian needs to think twice before voting R. And people say that Obama is a false Christian or a Muslim? HAHAHAHA. Not even close if you look into Romney's beliefs. Why hasn't he said a thing about his faith in public? Because nobody would vote for him and the Church can't have that. And Sandra Dornick, how has this admin failed us? Tell me, because I really want to know!

Hmmmm are you are talking about the jobs Romney sent to China, or the Chinese companies he has invested in? You're not talking about his son buying the companies who have the voting machines in a few states. Obama got OBL, the Republicans voted to CUT funding for embassy security, and I haven't heard one word out of you about voting for a man who feels his church and his overseas money is more important than this great country. And not even one word out of you Suzette about the magic underwear or Romney's cultish beliefs.....Patriotic Americans are happy that Obama got the bad guys who messed with us, he's working on cleaning up a mess that took 8 years and to think he can fix things in 4? The question shouldn't be are we better off now than 4 years ago? The real question is, if I am not a millionaire will I better off in 4 years if Romney wins!

Romney has been out of touch since his birth. He was born so rich he hasn't got a clue what it is to work to be comfortable. His whole approach to allowing no restrictions to corporate policy, [ ie: let them pay what they want - like they do in China], women's health [ and don't start blithering that all women want to do is run out and get an abortion - unless you are stupidly gullible], and education, [let the money follow the special ed students and the rest of us have to pay for-profit schools because Jeb likes that idea and good ol' Ryan wants to ABOLISH the dept. of Ed.], is nothing more than an excuse to return to feudalism! Wake up people! Romney does NOT own us! Romney can't even keep his agendas consistent! He blows in the wind to whatever suits the day. Ever stop to consider he is a mouthpiece for the richest of the rich that only want power because they can BUY it at our expense? It is grossly negligent of him to have a campaign co-manager that disavows the endorsement of a respected American, Republican, experienced diplomat and patriot because he is African American! That isn't leadership. That is outright cow-towing to those behind the scenes. You people that think Romney is the best for all America are so deluded by the hype of being a republican you can't think straight. I feel sorry for you. In spite of your short-comings, I will try my hardest to re-elect the President for your own good whether you realize it or not.

I have to admit, there isnt much choice and not everything Obama has done has impressed me, but he kept the economy from tanking, he got OBL, and he's kept us safe. He should have kicked the GOP's collective butt for cutting funding for embassy security but hey, while W was running the show, over 3000 people died ON AMERICAN SOIL. It's sad that 4 embassy personnel died overseas, but Obama didn't cut the funding!

I support America! I don't know how any Christian can vote for Romney. A man who belongs to a church which believes it's the only true church in the world, and all others are heathens. Who have secret masonic rituals in their temples and make their people buy their magic underwear from the Church. Which doesn't like minorities, relegates women to 2nd class citizens and tells it's members that you must obey. Hmmm would be perfect for the Republican Part. Obey without question, don't think, just do what you are told. In 4 years (IF ROMNEY WINS) you will be saying can't wait for him to not be in office.

Can you judge a man by what he says behind closed doors to private people? He believes most people 76% are lazy no good nicks.Could you be included as well? Perhaps not; but the trust factor of the individual's statements... far outweigh more than second hand people you happen to see or meet.

The republicans will not enforce a mandatory prescription drug database . For 10 years they fought against it altogether. Last year under severe pressure they passed a watered down version of a database. Doctor shoppers love it and doing business almost the same way . It has shown some good but nothing what it could be as mandatory. Republicans would rather support the doctors and BIG pharm and the drug dealers on the streets . Ask your rep why is this . This is comming from Florida , you need to know what the reps are doing to us. These prescription drugs could affect your kids one day , no kid yourself . If your kids safety meant something to the reps , they would pass a database with teeth . The drug dealer can go to 10 doctors a day pay cash and walk out with a script because there is no database to keep track PLEASE VOTE OBAMA Thank you

I saw Obama yesterday claiming the new job numbers are proof that his policies are working and that we are in an economic recovery... Fact is, that is not the truth, or even close to the truth...
First, the unemployment rate ticked up to 7.9% and the year-to-date monthly average of 157,000 payroll jobs is barely enough to keep up with population growth -- much less make up for the 8 million jobs lost during the Great Recession.
Second, the so-called real unemployment rate (U6) remains elevated at 14.6%, albeit down from 14.7% the prior month. Similarly, the labor participation rate is at 63.8%, up from its multi-decade low but still incredibly weak.
Third, average hourly earnings fell a penny in October and average hours worked fell to 34.4 from 34.5 in September.
Stagnant wages means "we're not generating income," Reinhart says. "That's a problem in terms of the durability of an economic expansion, which is usually fueled by consumption. To get consumption you've got to generate income."
Also, just look at your checkbook. We are paying a lot more for everything now than we did in 2008. The price of gas has doubled. At the same time, wages have gone down, and that's if you're lucky to have a job.
In 2008, 25 banks went out of business. In 2012, 48 banks have gone out of business. Almost double the amount. Does that sound like recovery to you? Don't believe the Obama lies!!
