Imagine everything you might ever need and then some under one roof. Plus plenty of food.
The Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce Community Spotlight event features businesses and nonprofit organizations from Central Pasco and North Hillsborough on Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16 in Land O' Lakes.
"Our Business Expo, titled Community Spotlight/ Expo 2013 this year to invite the community, has been encouraging residents to become aware of our local business and service resources or treasures for over 25 years," chamber executive director Meredith Kleker said.
"All types of businesses and nonprofit agencies participate, from our newest bank, Centennial, to Caroline Contracting."
Visitors can find information for their homes and their families, from home buying and maintenance or improvement to insurance, travel, and fitness, she said.
The coinciding Taste of the Town on Saturday features samples from local restaurants. Tickets for a taste are $1 each or 6 for $5.
"This year fan favorites Hungry Harry’s Family Bar-B-Que and Pizza Villa will be participating as well as some new surprises like Villa Verde Café," Kleker said.
Proceeds from Taste of the Town benefit the chamber's youth programs.
The two-day event is free to attend and also will feature the announcement of the 2013 honorary mayor.
