A Land O' Lakes High Student was arrested Thursday, Nov. 29, after breaking into a bedroom and stealing jewelry, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

The 16-year-old, whose name is being withheld by Patch because of his age, is accused of forcefully entering the bedroom of a Land O' Lakes resident Thursday afternoon and taking three pieces of jewelry.

He was arrested about four hours later and charged with burglary, according to the report.
