Last week, Students from Land O’ Lakes Christian School competed at the state at the Sunshine State Association of Christian Schools Senior Fine Arts Competition held at Clearwater Christian College.

And their efforts paid off.

LOLCS brought home 26 first-place,18 second-place, and eight third-place ribbons in 84 entries, according to a press release. Many of these students will compete in the American Association of Christian Schools National Competition in South Carolina April 10-12, the release stated.

Six students received $1,000 scholarships to Clearwater Christian College for their accomplishments:

Music: Abbie Nichols, Katie Avriett, Seth Templeton, Andrew Shelburne

Communication Arts: Olivia de la Rosa

English: Katie Frazier
