Lutz Man Trades Stolen Kitchen Appliances For Motorcycle
An employee of a Land O' Lakes business was accused of stealing Kenmore appliances and trading them on Craigslist.
A 26-year-old Lutz resident was arrested yesterday on charges of grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
Christopher Michael Zipter of 15101 N. 15th St. No. 12, in Lutz, was accused of and admitted to removing four kitchen appliances totaling $2,700 from his employer, Sun Cove Reality in Land O’ Lakes.
Zipter then listed the Kenmore refrigerator, microwave, stove and dishwasher on Craigslist for sale or trade, Pasco County Sheriff's officials said. He traded the stolen appliances for a Suzuki DR200 motorcycle.
