Mitt Romney Plans Tampa Rally For Wednesday

Gov. Mitt Romney is expected to appear at Landmark Aviation on Westshore Boulevard in Tampa.

Tampa Bay area residents hoping to hear from former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney before the election are in luck.

The Romney campaign has announced it will make a stop in Tampa on Wednesday, October 31.

According to Romney's campaign, he and Congressman Connie Mack both will appear at Landmark Aviation, 2450 N. Westshore Boulevard, Tampa, at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday for a rally.

Doors open at 8:45 a.m. for area residents who have a ticket. In order to get a ticket, you can register online or pick up a ticket at the campaign's state headquarters, 302 Knights Run Ave., in Tampa.

Those attending can expect to go through airport-like security, according to the Romney campaign.

Stay with Patch for updates on the rally.

Romney is coming to Florida again to tell us that he is going to create 12 million new jobs. Unfortunately, we will have to travel to China to get one. I actually would like to see a Romney rally in person. I hear that whenever Mitt Romney speaks at a campaign rally, the crowd is very diverse. There are white people there in their 50s, 60s AND 70s.

It is amazing how many lemmings can appear there. He will be with Connie Mack. Man .... he does endorse the loosers. Even the Snooze Press in Lee County (Macks old home town) won't endorse him. They endorse Robmey, but not Mack. Hmmmm, go figure, even republican media won't stand behind Mack.

Who the hell is "Rollo Tomasi" who referred to President Obama as "your black messiah"?

The poster is either deranged or clueless, but maybe both.

Fortunately, most Americans (including this very white Republican) who care about our nation will be voting for President Obama.

Let Romney come to Tampa, and let his partisans go bonkers for this phony who will say anything to anybody at any time, as long as he can fool them out of their votes.

The real Romney was captured in that secretly-taped video, talking to the super-rich donors who he will be working to protect by screwing the middle class and those powerless lower class Americans.

As to Mr Tomasi, grow up clown.

Because Obama goes around the world and shows respect to other countries , we have some say he saying sorry for America.. Because Obama uses his brain , unlike the cowboy Bush who sent troops into iraq unprepared without proper equipment , like Sadamm had his finger on the buton to blow us up at any minute. Iam sure if all Americans do their research they will vote for Obama . He saved millions of people from losing their homes , from republican controlled banks who were ripping them off by giving loans that should of never happened . Obama who , unlike the reps , wanted to take out Bin Laden . Iam sure if Obama was president on 911 he would of never allowed the Bin Laden family to fly out of the usa being the only plane in the sky ? The bush era stinks more everytime I think about what went on . But I like to call it the republican era , so I will not forget it and know if the reps are elected we will get more of the same . The poor will never get a break and the middleclass will decline . And we will be at war before you know it . Unlike what the reps want you to believe , Obama is respected around the world . Please vote for Obama . Romney flips like a fish out of water , he will say whatever you want to hear . He will say anything to get your vote .

@ Rollo T. -- I agree with you, there was nothing wrong with the 47% speech. There's no way to keep everyone out there happy. It's kinda like this blog that we're on here, there's about 47% of the people on here who just 'don't get it'. So, we really shouldn't worry about them.

@ Dad of Three -- Obama is the one who pays for the majority of his votes. He keeps all the uninformed & ignorant voters on payroll - by way of the MiddleClass. I'm sure he'll bus in his fan-club from the ghettos and Section8 housing from all of the worst parts of America just to get their vote (just like he did 4 years ago..)

Either way, Romney will come out on top. Obama will get fired and will be buried by by the press and the Military for the way he tried to cover-up the Libya incident with his terrible foreign policy ("non-policy").
- he'll go back to Chicago where he will reunite with his mentor, Jeremiah Wright and live the rest of his life - hopefully to never interfere with the American people ever again.. He's done enough damage for one wrong 4-year term.

People should not vote for anyone , UNLESS they have facts , not talking points or sound bites . I do not state hear say or nonsense . I do not speak without knowing the facts . The republicans are not interested in the middle class , nor helping them . Anyone of my age should know this. I have seen the republicans years after years look the other way when it comes to the middle class. The reps have refused the prescription drug database for 10 years and fought it every step of the way . A database that could someday save your kids life . The drug dealers love the reps for not enforcing this database . The reps are more interested in supporting the doctors , BIG pharma and their own pocketbook . They passed a watered down version of a database last year that is not mandatory for the doctors to use . They passed it under pressure . Please look into this simple fact before you vote for the reps . This alone should tell you where their heads are at . Its not you and I . Its their wallets and how much they can put in it , regardless of what it does to the middleclass. Vote Obama

As far as the stocks, I believe that deal was brokered by President Bush's administration. You forgot the first perimeters of the ballouts were done by Bush because that is convenent. Yes, Obama didn't create as many jobs as he set out, but as Governor of Mass neither did Romney. 47th in job creation per capa, that is out of 50 states.
As far as Mr. Chubre assumption Obama cares about the middle class, neither candidate cares about the middle class.

Just the facts:
January 3rd, 2007, the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
George Bush's policies SET A RECORD 52 MONTHS of JOB CREATION!

January 3rd, 2007 Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?

THANK YOU DEMOCRATS for dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Socialist Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES! Democrats own and operated this economic crises.

Who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac? OBAMA

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.
In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is "I inherited a deficit that I voted for, and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th."

Donald,
Love how you like to only point to the Democrat errors but the Republian errors. I associated to neither. So lets see here a true majority of the Congress didn't happen until October 2009. When seats that were contested due to illiness and questionable voting, so Obama had a Democrat Congress for approximately 4 months. So by you no financial mistakes were made from the Legislative branch from 1995-2007 Republican Majority. And if they were mistakes it was the Democrats fault. Donald wake up, this isn't a Democrat or Republican problem it's an American problem. No single Democrat or Republican got us in this mess. And regardless if Obama or McCain was elected in 2008 we would be having this same conversation now just with an different incumbant.
As far as your Bush set a record for job creation, I noticed you didn't put how much bad loans were credit on his job creation legislation from 2002-2007 which was approved by a Republican Majority Congress (can't be). The Credit Bubble was 30 years in the making, but it wasn't just Fannie Mae/Mac. Stop looking at the world through Partisan eyes and start looking at it through that of an American Problem.
The conservatives that blame Democrats for everything are just as bad as the liberals who blame Republicans for everything. You both have the hand in the cookie jar on the economic recession. Stop infighting and start fixing.

Sen Rubio needs to explain why he approved of the building of the Taj Mahal at 50 million dollars , money Florida does not have to spend . Why did sen Rubio get to walk away from this corruption when judge hawkes had to resign before the state surpreme court pressed the issue and had them all jailed??? Why wont Sen Rubio explain his actions on this??? Other judges in the state could not get simple repairs done to their courthouses, like air conditioners fixed and rodents removed because of the lack of money in the state budget . The republicans keep calling me blasting the dems for wasteful spending while Sen Rubio had to borrow most of the money to build this taj mahal . Just who made the 50million off this building and unwanted my most in the state? Why do the reps talk out both sides of their mouths when it suits them? Before sen Rubio goes anywhere in government he needs to come clean with this issue . Dont hold your breaath people. After 2 years Iam turning red.

I think you better take off your blinders MIke; as Obama is not respected around other countries - he has weakened our economic growth & military. Wonder what he and Putin have up their sleeve that he can't discuss until after the election; then he would have more flexability. Putin then said, we're behind you 100% - Does that not scare you in anyway?

Another frightening aspect of voting for Obama - has anyone checked Obama care - anyone who is 70 plus would be insane to vote for him. Example: You have an accident and you're taken to the emergency - Dr. is NOT PERMITTED to treat you until it goes to a board of 5 who will more than likely look at your age and decide if you should be treated. You could die before they would get back to the hospital. Immediate treatment many times is what saves you.. My mom is 91 - she works, dances and is full of spirit. She has macular degeneration; if she can no longer afford her own insurance she would have to depend on Obama care. Do you think at 91 she would be approved for treatments, NO, they would allow her to go blind because her life spam at 90. At this time, there are two representaives visiting hospitals informing them of what Dr's can and cannot do. I am told they could loose their licenses if they treat anyone (over 70) without approval from the board.

As far as Romney respecting women, I would definitely put my financial welfare in his hands and the welfare of my children and grandchildren over Obama's.

Why do most label others....place people into categories?? The D's are generally the worst at this; they like to place every person into their own little category.

MIKE, I've addressed your issues multiple times and you've yet to respond to anything.

What world do you live in believing it's only the R's who wreck things and only the D's who care?

Do you not see how they vote? 40,000 new laws passed last year. That's 40,000 times our Liberties were trampled upon. Was it just the R's passing all these laws? Has it only been the R's in Govt....destroying the country? Is it only the R's passing everything for Obama to sign...and if so...why would he sign something passed only by R's?

A lot of what you say rings true, but the thing is, it's not the R's or the D's.....it's the entire system. You should be "Raging against the Machine"...........not a single party.

You are railing about IRAQ..................do you have ANY understanding of what's occurring in Africa and the Middle East right now....death and destruction via the Nobel Peace Prize winning Pres. Obama is probably a worse war monger than Bush, but the presstiitutes in the lamestream media shield the truth from the people. FYI: That was the system lying to US, not Bush alone. Wake up. The Pres is just a front man.

For a recent media example, look into Amber Lyon and CNN.

Please find a cure for your case of Stockholm Syndrome...The D's do not care about you at all....stop believing the lies.

Penny, I agree that we need to have fiscal responsibility in this country. That is why you should not support the Republican Party. Nearly every Republican in the House of Representatives has signed the fiscally irresponsible Grover Norquist Tax Pledge promising not to raise one additional dollar in taxes. This fiscal irresponsibility has prevented us from having a debt deal in Congress to reduce the government's debt. The Republicans have created total gridlock in Congress because they care mostly about protecting millionaires. Their other main goal has been to simply hurt the President. Unfortunately, they have hurt all Americans in the process.

LOL brain washed i c. Abortion's will always be available..The Supreme court NOT the president, decides on those LAWS. I don't believe in abortion personally.. We don't need the White House in Our Bedrooms, or mandating Birth control...WE have a Constitution to protect and have for over 200 yrs, and the Citizens of Our Country. We do NOT Need a president who doesn't abide by Our Constituation or Laws and steals from Medicare for his Obama care...Ask those who live in Chi-town he did NOTHING for Chicago..He is NOTHING but a community Organizer. Obama can't even balance a budget even though congress has been dem for almost 4 years, (his OWN party is against him) NO Budget? UNHEARD OF I couldn't imagine No budget for my home, never mind a Country. Women have had FREE Birth control and have had it for over 45+ years. Any Health dept will provide it...And he should be ashamed of ignoring The deaths of 4 Americans, I guess he MUST Please his Muslim "friends"...Thats the reason. OBAMA'S ALLEGiENCE is NOT to AMERICA.. OUR Commander in Chief does NOT Bow down to ANYONE in the World never has & never will..And NO one is EVER suppose to TOUCH The Queen of England..EVER!! He's a disgrace.Gov. Romney has 10 women on his Board in Mass, NO other state ever employed that Many women on a Gov.'s Board & Yes, they are PAID equally. Funny the Women in Obama's white house aren't, Check the records...You are Completely WRONG!!!

Women are not dumb or weak. No one is going to force us to have a rapist baby! When men want women to vote their way, they throw out abortion, pay rates and miliatary action or whatever has been fought for women's rights? Romney is not going to take the vote away from women nor the choice of birth. Let's get down to the real issues. My family has lost our home (Obama's plan did not work), we have lost half our wages, insurance is out of our financial ability. Things are not working. Even when the the stimulas money came for junk cars, who was able to afford a new car payment, not me!. I considered my self middle class and not one stimulas dollar has helped my family, only the rich. Let's try something new.

Mike, I think it is great that you are interested in the USA and its future. It is to your credit that you are an active citizen. I do hope, however, that you will double-check some of your facts. There is conflicting information floating about, but if you will check reputable sources, you will find that Obama has added to the debt more than any President in history; that his healthcare plan will bankrupt many small businesses; that his healthcare plan has already made huge cuts in Social Security; that his wife and daughter's vacation spending at the expense of the taxpayer has been documented to be in excess of $16 million, that his credibility around the world is low because of his lack of knowledge and leadership in foreign policy coupled with his failed fiscal policies causing a credit down-grade for the US; and his lack of truthfulness with the Lybian deaths have all substantiated his lack of readiness for the job. If someone gave us that resume to head a company, we wouldn't hire them.
Romney has had immense, successful experience creating jobs; he does NOT oppose abortion in the case of rape; he has no desire to engage in a war (really, not President does, think how unpopular that would make them to just begin a war without solid, or presumed-to-be solid intelligence. Even Romney's opponents have touted him as stellar businessman, an experienced governor, and a fine person. Romney is solid. Give him your vote in November.
All of us want a strong America.

I just cannot believe all this talk about the deaths in Libya as if Obama did them himself . The republicans sent our troops into Iraq unprepared without proper equipment when there was no rush to war . Where were all these complainers then? Anyone who thinks that a man who was willing to take out Osama Bin Laden but thinks Obama looked the other way with Libya is not thinking straight . Just a another game the reps are trying to play .

Mike, the reason the military was under equiped in Iraq is because Bill Clinton decimated our military. Obama did not take out Osama, the military followed through with Bushes plans. Bill Clinton had 12 chances to take out Osama and failed each time, Obama put it off for weeks (probably didn't want to kill his brother muslim) and was finally forced to make the call by his staff.
I hope Romney overturns Rowe VS Wade except the the case or rape or incest.

Donald,
it's always a Democrats fault. We aren't going to talk about who put Osama in power and why? Clinton decimated our military, because the Republican Congress who signed the bill to ramp down had nothing to do with it? According to the 9-11 report it was less than 12 real tries, but that's another issue. But what about the opportunities that Bush had? Didn't mention them did you? Not really surprised. I know you believe that Democrats are the root of all evil. I'm sure like some Conservative scholars you are going to be blame the 9-11 attack on liberals too. Because in the 1980's it was the Democratic Administration forcing people off their religious lands to build military bases? Was that the Carter, Clinton, or Obama administration during the mid 1980's that was feeding weapons to Osama Bin Laden?
Mike you are incorrect they were not improperly equiped, they were given bad intelligence. That happens, we trusted some informants that shouldn't have been trusted. But ill-equiped. The American military man is the finest equipment military in the world. It did require a cultural change in training, but that comes with the changing times/population spreads.

People will be killing each other to survive. And we will SEE OUR Government Killing their own citizen to restore Peace HERE. NOT in The Middle east or Europe. HERE. We Need a Strong Man in the White House that can Get the economy moving and restore America and Romney is a Very Intelligent Man..Who is Sucessful. This is what we need so desperately. Obama will go down as the worst President in History , next to Jimmy Carter. Be aware of what will happen when Obama is VOTED OUT. He should Step down And admit his Failures. Fourteen people dead from the storm hitting our East Coast. Massive damage of infrastructure, people's homes and businesses destroyed. All I read here from Gov. Romney's so-called supporters is hate, hate and more hate. So discouraging. You people must have something positive to say about Gov. Romney. You people must have some reason for voting for him and not just voting against President Obama. I am so tired of reading the vile comments vomited by Rollo, TJG, Sav820. I picture each of you sitting in your sagging recliners wearing stained tee shirts chugging cheap beer and taking out your disappointments with your petty little lives by calling fellow citizens "dirtbags, dummy, clueless" and worse. Saying you support Gov. Romney is just an excuse for your hate. Once the election is over, you will find another reason to try to get reactions from people who just want to exchange comments with their neighbors. I used to be shocked that people could write such vile things about other people; in fact I was shocked that people could think such things about other people. Now I just feel pity for the sad little lives people like Rollo, TJG and Sav820 lead. So much pity.

How do the facts add up. He starts up with some decent facts then go Michael Moore for the rest of the movie. He protrays other peoples thoughts as Obama's own writings. He has never met his subject matter. It is no better than 2004's Feigheit 9-11. It starts up with some facts, but after about 15 minutes, goes straight to opinion town. When even people in the consverative news industry is questioning the "facts" presented what does that say. D'Souza is a conservative sensationalist. No better than Michael Moore on the liberal side. Both sell opinions as facts.

The 6Trillion $ he added to the deficit (in just 1 term) doesn't lie. And the questionable / shady people that he surrounded himself with before he became elected for the past 20 years don't lie. And certainly the unqualified people that he appointed to office over the past 4 years don't lie.
- he spent his entire term trying to regulate everything for Americans from DC at the federal level - like ObamaCare -- which is just a big tax and healthcare experiment.
- all he's done is try to spread the money around to people in the lower class who don't know what it's like to have $$ in the first place - and just waste it because he feels that he needs to give back to the poor.
- As Obama quoted himself, "If he doesn't get the job done and get the economy back on track, then he will be a 1-term President". ---- Case closed.

How do you (or anyone) still support this guy..???

Romney wants to get rid of FEMA (the Federal Emergency Management Agency), the agency that handles disaster relief and cleanup, and return that function to each state, as he said in the Republican presidential primary debates. That's a terrible idea!

Actually, he has a lot of terrible, backward ideas!

Sorry Mike I just watched Romney, I mean Richard M Romney speak in Ohio at what was dubbed a Storm rally. He spoke about politics then thanked people for bringing cans. One of his staffers was over heard saying they had no clue where to put the 202 cans and would have to get creative with it. The rally had close to 150 people at it. The President took his network and converted it to the red cross hot line. That's what real leaders do.

Romney dodging questions yesterday on FEMA:

But here he is discussing how he wants to get rid of FEMA:

And of course it wouldn't be a complete coverage on an issue and Romney's views, without bringing in the original flip flop of his days as Governor, when he opted out of financing this at the state level, but requested the national assistance...

Trish , Hello. Please tell me one of my facts you think are not correct > I dont just post off the top of my head and I dont get my facts from Fox News or some other nonsense place. I understand " facts" and agree to some of them . There are pros and cons with each , no doubt. My main issue with the reps is not like most people . My issue is the reps are helping the drug companies and doctors push controlled substances without regard for the people . Second issue , which I believe you are wrong on is, the reps like to keep a war going , call me what you want , I have studied the reps are many many years and no one will ever convince me differant . If you do some fact checking you will find out that the reps are not concerned with prescription drug abuse . I have 5 inches of paper to show anyone interested in this fact. This alone will never allow me to vote for a rep . Being self employed , i have never been without work , unless I wanted to be. Obama has saved millions of peoples homes from being taken by the blood sucking banks. How can you fault him for this ? The reps are not happy without a war of some kind You have to take the good with the bad with each , my vote is on obama
