In preparation for Terra Bella, land was cleared in 2006. Although we have seen a medical center and a preschool built on the formerly empty land, so far we have seen no subdivision.

For years, as we drove along State Road 54, we passed the signs declaring Terra Bella to be, "Coming Soon." Now, finally, the entrance flags are up, the decorative little gate houses are in place and the roads are paved. 

The subdivision's builder, D.R. Horton Homes, will begin phase one of Terra Bella in February. Matt Sienk of D.R. Horton told Patch that all that is yet needed is the permit to break ground on five model homes. 

Single family homes will range from 1,800 square feet to 2,800 square feet with three to five bedrooms.  Home prices are currently set to range between $189,000 and $254,000. A pool and cabana will be situated near the entrance. 

Models similar to the ones that will be built in Terra Bella may already be viewed in the Seven Oaks subdivision. Terra Bella is located off State Road 54 near Livingston Avenue.
