Gabriella Fontanez of Land O' Lakes was cold, but that didn’t keep her from helping out at the Heritage Park Foundation’s Al and Ida Silver Memorial Car show recently.
Gabriella was there, along with her mother, Lilly, promoting the upcoming Land O’ Lakes Relay for Life.
The 8-year-old Connerton Elementary third-grader also had a friend with her.
“This is Nicole,” Gabriella said, as she snuggled with her stuffed cheetah. Nicole was up for an interview, so she shared a bit about her life.
Nicole is seven, Gabriella said. She likes to eat bugs.
Nicole also likes to get a tan after a long day, Gabriella said.
What grabs your attention about Nicole is her eyes, Gabriella said.
Gabriella shared a bit about herself, as well. She likes hot dogs, shopping at Justice and Selena Gomez—but not Justin Beiber, she said.
Unlike Nicole, Gabriella isn’t a fan of tanning after a long day.
Her favorite thing to do after school is “go home and play with my dog, Bella,” she said.

This was so sweet. Gabriella is a sweetheart just like her mother, they both go out of their way to help others. We are lucky to have them in our community.
