Pasco Residents Represent at Romney Rally

About 1,000 people turned out for Monday's rally in Dunedin.

Pinellas County Republicans weren't the only ones that turned out to hear presidential hopeful Mitt Romney speak Monday afternoon in Dunedin.

A contingency of Pasco County Republicans also made their way to the event.

"I voted for Romney because I wanted someone that had been a governor.  Someone with the best administrative and executive experience and (who) knew something about business. The American people didn't do that last time and now we are in a big mess," said Republican Club of Central Pasco member Kathleen Walligore of Land O' Lakes.

"The rally was great," said Anne Corona of New Port Richey. "Exciting to see the next President of the United States."

Corona is the president of the West Pasco Republican Club. Like Walligore, she said, Romney is the best man for the job.

"I think Romney is the most presidential of all the Republican candidates," she siad. "He has been the most consistent in the debates. Mitt hasn't spent his life in Washington and I think that means something."
