Pasco Sheriff's Office Hiring Crossing Guards
Positions are open mainly on the east side of the county.
The Pasco Sheriff's Office is hiring school crossing guards, according to its Facebook page.
"We have a need for school crossing guards on the east side of our county, mainly (the) Land O' Lakes area, Lutz area and Wesley Chapel," the post said.
According to the sheriff's office website,the part-time position entails ensuring that elementary school children safely cross the street.
The crossing guard position, which pays $9.52 an hour, is limited to the hours when school is opening, closing or recessing.
Applicants are not required to take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).
