With 104 entries, the Land O' Lakes Library's Teen Art Contest involved some stiff competition. Youth ages 11 and up competed in the April 19 event in categories such as three-dimensional, two-dimensional and digital/photographic art.

The judged event included a full gallery display of pieces, with refreshments sponsored by Prodigy Arts. Prizes were given out to the top three pieces in each category and a Best in Show award was given to the piece that best embraced a fantasy, anime or manga theme.

Prize winners received $50 for first place, $20 for second and $10 for third, courtesy of the Friends of the Land O' Lakes Library. The overall winner also received $50.

The winners were:

• Digital/Photography: Amanda Waugh, first; Taylor Gandy, second; and Amanda Waugh, third.
• 3-D: Taylor Gandy, first; Henry Skaggs, second and third.
• 2-D: R.J. Lombardo, first and third; Taylor Gandy, second.
• Overall Anime/Manga/Fantasy: Taylor Gandy
