The competition is always friendly.

For the third year in a row, the teachers at Pine View Elementary and Middle schools met on a field.

The mission: to see who is best when it comes to kickball.

This year, Pine View Elementary took the win in an 8-to-4 game. The victory also means the elementary school earns the "Pride of the Parkway" title for this year. (The two schools are located on Parkway Boulevard in Land O' Lakes; thus, the Pride of the Parkway moniker for the annual match.)

If you were at the March 23 game, we'd love to share your photos. Just upload them to the gallery!

Editor's note:  In the spirit of full disclosure, these pictures were taken by Lena Fernandez, Patch associate regional editor Sherri Lonon's sister-in-law. Sherri is proud to have a niece that attends Pine View Elementary and a nephew that is a Pine View Middle School Panther.
