Start FCAT Week with a Free Breakfast

Stop by McDonald's this morning and your student can fill up on the house before a day of testing.

If you're heading out to drive the kids to school this morning, you may want to leave a bit early so they can grab a fun, free breakfast before FCAT testing begins today.

McDonald’s locations across Florida will serve a free breakfast to public school students today until 9 a.m.

Students in grades three through 11 will receive a complimentary Egg McMuffin, apple slices and choice of 1 percent low-fat white milk, fat-free chocolate milk or orange juice at any participating McDonald’s location.

Land O’ Lakes McDonald’s manager David Chaya said the free breakfast is slated to end at 9 a.m., but added that he will still honor the promotion is someone is a bit later on their way to school.

The only stipulation is that the child has to be present to receive the breakfast, Chaya said. In years past, teachers have stopped in asking to get breakfast for their students to take to school for them, however the restaurant cannot honor those requests.

Good luck on your tests, Land O' Lakes students!
