Strong Storms Moving into the Land O' Lakes Area
Heavy rain and storms are expected this weekend. Here's what you need to know in the Land O' Lakes area.
Don't let this morning's mild weather fool you: The National Weather Service says strong storms are headed our way.
A large low pressure system is moving into the Tampa Bay area and potentially severe thunderstorms are anticipated to follow along with it, according to a hazardous weather report.
"Heavy rainfall is expected with this system and a widespread 1 to 3 inches will be possible with locally heavier amounts," the report said. Forecasters say some minor localized flooding is possible.

NWS missed this by a mile. A little to much gloom and doom and not much in the way of action.

On the upside, we did get some much-needed rain! And the lightning was kind of nice to watch while it lasted.
