Pasco Sheriff's deputies say Russell Alan Clarke was speeding.
A culinary arts teacher at Robinson High School in Tampa was arrested by Pasco Sheriff’s deputies early March 5, accused of drunken driving.
Russell Alan Clark was pulled over in his 2003 Cadillac at State Road 54 and Via Bella Boulevard in Land O’ Lakes just after 2 a.m. Clarke was clocked at 86 mph in a 55-mph zone, a sheriff’s office report states, and when the deputy approached him he immediately smelled alcohol.
Clarke told the deputy he was coming from club Aja (pronounced Asia) in Tampa and said he had about three glasses of wine, the report states. Clarke didn’t do well on field-sobriety tests and then blew a .156 and .171 on the breath test, according to his arrest affidavit. State law presumes impairment at .08.
