Looking for a new companion? Meet Thunder, the "gentle giant."

"He's a big sturdy boy who comforts with just his presence," Pasco County Animal Services volunteer Carolyn Gerow says. "He is still interested in playing but he won't run up your curtains."

The big guy also has had his front paws declawed.
