UPDATE: One Dead In Plane Crash That Has S.R. 52 Traffic Diverted
A plane from Pilot Country Estates crashed into power lines early this morning.
One person has been killed after an ultralight plane crashed into power lines near U.S. 41 and State Road 52, accoring to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
Officials are still working to free the body from the aircraft.
The sheriff's office also warns that they are power outages in the area.
Traffic is still being diverted off of S.R. 52.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is diverting traffic away from Pilot Country Estates on State Road 52 this morning as emergency crews work to free an ultralight plane from power lines.
According to Doug Tobin, the sheriff’s office spokesman, the pilot of the plane is unresponsive. Pasco County Fire Rescue is working to reach the plane.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area of U.S. 41 and State Road 52. Traffic is being diverted to Ehren Cutoff and U.S. 41.
