'Zombies' at Nudist Resort Arrested

Tussle with security lands "undead" in jail.

One of the living posing as one of the undead was booked into the Land O’ Lakes jail over the weekend after he and another man were accused of tussling with security at Caliente Resort and Spa.

Shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, a 71-year-old security guard asked Kevin Andrew Fearn, whose face was covered in ghoulish white makeup and fake blood in his jail mug shot, to speak with him outside the Caliente night club, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. Caliente is a nudist resort.

The security officer told law enforcement that a guest told him that Fearn, 47, had touched a woman’s breast without permission.

Once they were outside, Fearn told the security officer to go back in the club. The guard refused, and Fearn grabbed him and threw him to the ground, according to an incident report.

Another, younger, security guard came to help and was confronted by Reynaldo Reyno, according to the report. Reyno, who has worked in information technology at the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, argued with the security guards and raised a fist to the younger security guard. The guard tried to restrain him, and Reyno, who appears to have been costumed, hit him in the right side of the face.

The guard brought Reyno to the ground, and Reyno bit him on the right arm, according to the report.

Fearn, of Land O' Lakes, was arrested on a charge of battery on a person 65 or older. Reyno, of Odessa, was arrested on a simple battery charge.

They were both later released on bail.
