Woman Bought Hearing Aids with Stolen Funds
The Land O' Lakes woman was charged with grand theft after taking money from her employer, according to authorities.
A woman was arrested Wednesday for stealing money from her employer and spending it on hearing aids for herself.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Geraldine Bradley of 21312 Paoli Drive in Land O' Lakes took $1350 in cash from Gann & Gann Realty, where she worked as an assistant property manager.
Bradley took in two cash deposits as payment for rent on behalf of Gann & Gann on May 5, a complaint affidavit stated.
She was interviewed by a deputy May 9, and post-Miranda, Bradley said she used the funds to order a set of hearing aids online, the report stated.
Bradley was charged with grand theft. She was released from the Land O' Lakes jail early Friday morning on $500 bond.
