Woman Yells Racial Slurs, Hits Car with Skateboard at McDonald's
The incident occurred Saturday in the drive-thru of the Land O' Lakes restaurant.
A woman faces criminal mischief and possible hate crime charges after deputies say she yelled racial slurs at another woman at the Land O' Lakes McDonald's, then hit her car with a skateboard.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, the victim said she almost hit a woman on a skateboard as she pulled into the drive-thru because she didn't see her.
The woman on the skateboard, Jasmine Spring Hobbs, 19, began yelling at the driver, using expletives and racial slurs, according to the report. Then Hobbs grabbed the skateboard and slammed it against the roof of the car.
The incident was witnessed by the victim's daughter, who was in the front passenger seat, as well as a McDonald's employee, who said he heard Hobbs threaten to "beat" the woman.
The incident occured Saturday, Jan. 26, around 1:30 p.m. Hobbs is an employee of Ukelele Brand's in Land O' Lakes, according to the report.
Hobbs of 21131 McKaig Lane was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, with a recommended hate crime charge. She was released from the Land O' Lakes jail on $150 bond.

A drive thru is no place for anyone on a skateboard, esp one as busy as McDonalds. Accidents happen, however this snowflake was in the wrong when she damaged another person's property.....Jus Sayin.........

I completely agree Teresa and as for you "Jus Sayin" apparently you have the same lack of sense and decency as the idiot girl on the skateboard. The driver was not in the wrong at all. The little dumbass should know better than to be riding a skateboard in a Restaurant parking lot or any where near it. The " skater" is the one who should have been more careful and to yell racial slurs shows her lack of intelligence and some missing discipline and proper upbringing at home.

What about the driver who "almost hit her because she didn't see her." Seems to me like the driver shares a little of the blame. Why didn't she see her? On her cell phone and too busy talking to be bothered with driving?
