Do you remember chanting "mind your own business" to your friends when didn't want to talk about something uncomfortable? Most times an "MYOB" only created more curiosity about your failed test, bad mark on your report card or reason for detention. Not that any of those scenarios happened to me!
This blog is about Your Business and how to "mind" it so you can enjoy the success you envisioned when you started your business. So, Mind Your Own Business is about talking and sharing and learning from each other.
How do you "mind" your business? How do you pay attention to what's important?
Let's start the conversation!

My biggest thing is always getting out there and promoting myself in various ways so that my student base doesn't get so low that I have to go into panic mode. It's also maintaining my clients with prices that families can afford for lessons and being sure that I maintain standards for myself and my students. The biggest thing that's allowed me to be successful is keeping my rates affordable AND being someone the kids enjoy coming to see each week. The word of mouth advertising from that alone has been a HUGE blessing.

Cherylann, keeping your classes affordable speaks to your awareness of what your market can afford. Keep up your great work.
