Ton of Fun with Patch!

Patch's Ton of Fun event brought out many local residents more than happy to get out for ice cream and pizza on a Friday night! They also took part in a food drive. Just this one event brought in over 100 lbs. of food!

The location was easily found with the Patch RV sitting up on Land O' Lakes Blvd marking the spot! Walton's Ice Cream & Coffee and Paulie's Pizza offered 10 percent off for those bringing a food donation to the event. Fisher Honey Bee'sEarl's Tees, and other local businesses donated items for drawings and many participants went home with prizes. Wibur's Fun Zone brought out a bounce house, popcorn and cotton candy for the kids. When the kids got tired of bouncing they were hanging out playing video games in the 32-foot mobile Gaming Revolution trailer or doing crafts with Patch. "I Choose" author Suzin Carr  was there with books helping youth make positive choices, Not a Clue Adventures came with many ideas to get families outside this summer and The Skywire Project entertained us all with live music most of the evening!

They had wonderful weather and nice crowds! Local resident Phil Harich brought out his 3 children and said, "It is great to have a local event that gives the kids something to do on a Friday evening." Other participants were raving about the great service and food at the sponsoring restaurants.

It was nice to get out with our neighbors and enjoy the feeling of "community." Thanks Patch for a great event!
