The Land O’ Lakes Chapter of AARP meets at the Land O’ Lakes Community Center, 5401 Land O' Lakes Blvd., Jan. 28 at 10:30 a.m. Cpl. Allen Wells of the Pasco County Sheriff's Office's Citizen Support Unit will speak about recent scams targeting area residents. He will provide advice on how to avoid them.
Attendance is open to chapter members and all AARP members in the surrounding community who are interested in joining the local chapter. Annual dues are $10 per person. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share.
