First Baptist is very special, in my opinion. There is a loving Christian atmosphere where people are accepted as God's creation, but loved and taught God's salvation plan of faith and trust in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. That faith and trust in Christ takes us from being not only a creation of God, but a child of God, and part of His family. The standards taught there are from the Bible, not from the ever-changing, 'do what makes you feel good for the moment' philosophy.
