It's Dec. 8, and we're chillin'—a great excuse for a peppermint latte today, yes? Happy Thursday, Land O' Lakes!
- Baby, it's getting cold outside. The National Weather Service forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 67, and wind chill values as low as 34 early in the day. Evening lows will be around 48.
- Registration for at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex starts today. Cost is $35, which includes a game T-shirt and an eight-game season. Age divisions include 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15. Volunteer coaches also are needed.
- Take aim at cancer during at 7 p.m. tonight at Royal Bowling Lanes, 1927 Brinson Road in Lutz. Cost is $15.
