The stray mix is also a friendly fellow, Pasco County Animal Services volunteer Jeff Lipkes said.

The regular adoption fee is $70, plus a $5 tag required for Pasco residents. The shelter accepts cash or checks only.
Planning to adopt this month? Fees are reduced in January to $35 for dogs and $20 for cats, Pasco County Animal Services education coordinator Judy Tate Gregory wrote in an email.
