Meet Victoria: Star Student with a Big Heart

The sixth-grader shares with Patch a few of her favorite things—and her one wish.

Victoria Hossler, 11, of Land O' Lakes wants to be a dentist when she grows up.

But for now, she has plenty to smile about.

The Crews Lake Middle School sixth-grader earned straight A's during the first and second quarter and was recently nominated as student of the quarter, her mother, Danielle Hossler, wrote in an email.

At a school ceremony Monday evening, Victoria was honored with the title.

(Congratulations, Victoria!)

Her favorite subjects in school are science and art, Victoria said.

When the school day is done, she enjoys dancing, singing and "hanging out with friends and family," she said.

Victoria is most proud of "making the right choices," she said.

And if she had just one wish, she wouldn't use it for herself. Victoria would wish "for my friends and family to stay safe and healthy," she said.

Do you know a cool kid like Victoria? Of course you do! Email keli.sipperley@patch.com and we will profile him or her on Patch!
