The Heritage Park Foundation and Land O' Lakes Saturday Market will once again host Traditions on the Green from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 10 at the community center, and there is still time to get involved.
"We really encourage anyone that wants to become involved to sponsor a booth," event organizer Sandy Graves said in an email. "Just takes a tent, two volunteers and a craft or game."
A booth can be reserved for $10 through Dec. 1. After that, the price increases to $15.
The event, in its fourth year, will feature ornament making, crafts, puppet shows and a bounce house. Commissioner Pat Mulieri will provide her "famous face painting," Graves said.
The Rotary Club of Land O' Lakes will prepare and serve a breakfast with Santa from 9 to 10 a.m. The breakfast and all activities are free while supplies last.
Pineview Middle School performs at 10 a.m., Land O' Lakes High School Jazz band performs at 11 a.m, and Denham Oaks Elementary School Chorus performs at 12 p.m.
Canned food donations for Metropolitan Ministries Pasco will be collected at the event, as well.
The Heritage Park Foundation began as a group of Central Pasco residents who wanted to see the community center park continue as a hub of the community of Land O' Lakes, Graves said.
"The park started with Lakers dedicated to providing the monies to build it and continue with the activities that build a strong community. We want to keep that type of spirit alive."
