As the New Year approaches, many of us will resolve to get more active in the community. Fortunately, there are some great places in and around Land O' Lakes looking for extra hands.

The Land O' Lakes Volunteer Fire Department is one of those places.

Scott Burford, one of two district chiefs at the department, said they are just looking for people in Pasco who are willing to serve.
