Reader's Spotlight: Entries Sought for Jacaranda Poetry Contest

In honor of National Poetry Month in April, the Pasco Arts Council is inviting all Land O' Lakes poets to enter the seventh annual Jacaranda Poetry Festival Saturday, April 20 at the council's art center, 5744 Moog Rd., Holiday.

According to an event listing posted by Nancy Verderosa, the deadline to enter is April 3. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of professional judges led by published author Alicyn Lopez, and awards (including cash prizes) will be announced at the Jacaranda Poetry Reading on Saturday, April 20 at 1 p.m.
