You're next Land O' Lakes.
If you wandered over to the juvenile section of the South Holiday Library Saturday, you would have been greeted with a live performances of rock, metal and hip-hop.
Four bands and one solo act were rocking at a preview performance for Rockus Maximus XV, the Pasco County Library System's Battle of the Bands.
You can catch a preview concert at the Land O' Lakes Library on March 9 that will feature the other four bands that will be competing at the main event.
In addition to performing, band members competed at the South Holiday preview in a game of "Library Warrior," in which they were challenged to speed paint while dancing, drink coffee that they were told was brewed from meal worms (although it wasn't really) and other physical and mental challenges.
The four bands that played Saturday will meet again, along with the four other bands, for the main Rockus Maximus concert event on March 23. The four bands that played in the preview concert in Holiday were:
Members: Mat Henderson, Nicholas Almeida, Sean Wolsky, Tyler Wolsky, Kevin Linares
Members: Bobby Creighton, Kyle Godrich, Will Crowley, Isaa
Members: Derek Luna, Cameron Luna, Dylan Buckley, Nick Russell
Members: Michael Lindo, Lorenzo Lindo, Ben Kennet
Solo artist Introvert performed hip-hop between acts.

There is also an online voting competition. The band who gets the most votes in the online competition will bring home a $500 gift card from Encore Music. A $250 card goes to the band with the second highest number of online votes.
