3 Easy Back To School Teacher Gifts

The blogger community offers up some easy to do gifts that add a special touch to the first day of school for your child's teacher.

Teachers are one of the most important people in the lives of a child. And their job is undoubtedly one of the most challenging. With the new school year starting, it's important to thank teachers up front for all the hard work they'll be putting in during the upcoming school year. We scoured some of our favorite blogs for ideas on just want to give to teachers.

Below are three inexpensive ideas that you can put together quickly and make a good first day impression on your child's teacher.

  • This cute mason jar craft found over on the Lil Luna blog is for the teacher with a sweet tooth. It's a mason jar stuffed with Mounds candy with a pretty label that reads "Can't Wait To Have Mounds Of Fun With You In Class!" You could edit it to "Learn Mounds Of Stuff" or something more academic if you're really looking to make an impact on your child's teacher.
  • Here's another goodie for teachers on the first day found on the Creative Outlet blog. It's a chinese food box stuffed with fortune cookies. Am I the only one who loves these things? Sometimes it's the best part of the meal. But I digress. The crafty blogger placed a label on front that says "I'm So Fortunate To Have You As My Teacher."
  • I promise this last one has nothing to do with food. Over on Reading Confetti, there's an easy and great way to get off on the right foot with your teacher - literally. The blogger creates a goodie bag with nail polish and foot soak. The tag attached to the bag reads "Let's Start Off On The Right Foot."
