Monthly Meeting of The Republican Club of Central Pasco - Speaker: Supervisor of Elections, Brian Corley

Supervisor of Elections, Brian Corley, will be the keynote speaker at the meeting.  Corley will discuss the redistricting of the county and what it means to you the voter.  Redistricting is the redrawing of Florida's political boundary lines, every ten years, to reflect the changes in population.  Commissioner Jack Mariano will also be on hand to answer questions regarding the recent passage of the Mobility Fees, the fee system that replaced transportation impact fees and will charge higher rates for new construction in rural and suburban areas than in urban areas.  The fees also give the county greater flexibility in spending transportation money.

There is a dinner and social at 6:00 p.m. and the business meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.  The public is welcome.  For more information call Connie Queller. This club meets the last Wednesday of every month.
