Event-Planning Expo to Include Real Hollywood-Style Wedding

Planning a special event that you hope knocks your guests’ socks off? An upcoming expo aims to make your dream a reality.

The Events Extravaganza Expo at the Quail Hollow Event Center on Oct. 21 will feature a bridal show, Quinceanera Show and a Hollywood-style wedding with more than 50 vendors and sponsors.

The expo is open to the public and especially for anyone planning weddings, bar or bat mitzvahs, corporate events, quinces, themed events, birthdays, or any special event, event coordinator Carmen Escobar said

This event is like no other, Escobar said. You will be welcomed on the red carpet with paparazzi and champagne, enjoy two large fashion shows, live music and, of course, the wedding.

A real wedding?

Yes.

Christopher Ferguson and Kimber Smith will tie the knot during the event, Escobar said.

The couple was selected to win the wedding by judges Pasco Clerk of Court Paula O'Neil and Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce director Debbie Kaplan, Escobar said.

"I like to be different. This expo is literally an out-of-the-box event and I have to thank all my vendors and sponsors who have helped me make this happen," Escobar said.

Raffle prizes will be awarded every 30 minutes, including a seven-day Caribbean Cruise and a wedding gown.

Registration is available at www.events2perfection.com/events. The cost is $5 in advance, or $10 at the door. 

The Quail Hollow Event Center is located at 6225 Old Pasco Road in Wesley Chapel.
