Food Trucks Dish Up Sunday Supper

The Gathering Place Wood Fired Oven will host a food truck rally for the second month in a row this weekend.

Food truck fans have a new date to put on their calendars thanks to The Gathering Place Wood Fired Oven in Lutz.

The second Sunday of the month is now officially Food Truck Rally day.

Last month’s rally was a first-time venture that went over so well, the restaurant has decided to bring it back on a regular basis.

This month’s rally takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 at the 16319 N. Florida Ave. eatery. It features not only a variety of flavors courtesy of food trucks, but also the restaurant’s own cuisine. Arts and crafts vendors will also be onsite, according to Christopher Fuller, the restaurant’s managing partner.

“We would like to thank everyone again for making last month's event a big success,” Fuller said. “We just want everyone to come out and have a good time with us.”
