recently celebrated its seventh anniversary, and its owners say its success is largely a result of their commitment to the community.
Owners Wes and Rene Van Hout have lived in Land O' Lakes since 1998, witnessing "the area's growth from ranches and orchards to subdivisions and shopping centers," Rene Van Hout said.
With backgrounds in hospitality and transport, the couple saw a need for a quality moving company in the Land O' Lakes area. Their first decision was to make the venture "a community based company," Rene Van Hout said.
"The moving industry is unfortunately full of horror stories of people getting ripped off and treated unfairly," Rene Van Hout said.
The Van Houts established reputations in the community allowed the company to grow very quickly in its first year, Rene Van Hout said.
By its second year, the company had to purchase more trucks, trailers and a 1,100-square-foot office on 3/4 acre to accommodate the growing staff and equipment, Rene Van Hout said.
"Giving the best quality and superior customer service has been extremely rewarding," Rene Van Hout said. The couple go home every night knowing they "worked hard and got the jobs done right," she said.
"Being a positive and active force in the community will always be a priority. The success and growth has been from hard work, dedication to the community and nonprofit organizations, restoring integrity to the moving industry, and of course, performing moves that beat people’s expectations. Gratitude has been abundant to all the wonderful people that have hired, trusted, and referred and to Team LOL," Rene Van Hout said.
The Better Business Bureau and Angie’s List has consistently rated as an ‘A’ business, Rene Van Hout said.
It also was voted "Best Moving Company in Tampa Bay," by The Tampa Bay 10. The voted the company "2010-2011 Business of the Year," Rene Van Hout said.
Congrats!
Rene goes out of her way to help people, we are both happy to know them.
