It’s true you can get "a car from selling tubes of lipstick."
So says Ellen Castellani, Mary Kay Director, who is behind the wheel of a 2014 Chevy Cruze these days thanks to the efforts of herself and her team.
“It’s not an easy get-rich-quick scheme,” Castellani said of the popular, direct sales cosmetics company. “It’s hard work.”
To earn cars, Mary Kay directors have to have teams of salespeople who reach and maintain certain monthly sales benchmarks. Castellani said she is already on target to earn another vehicle.

Castellani started at Mary Kay two years ago and soon became a director. She said she was drawn to the fact Mary Kay puts “faith first, family second and career third.”
“If you don’t know God when you come into Mary Kay, you will (soon) know God,” she said.
