A Look At What We're Covering This Week
Ask your questions and we'll try to get them answered for you.
Happy Monday everyone! It’s the start of a brand new week and we have lots of exciting things going on here at Patch.
Here’s a look at what we have cooking this week. We invite you to get involved in the process by asking questions you’d like us inquire about on such stories as:
- What’s the Heritage Park Foundation up to? – This nonprofit group recently began a petition drive to get the county to move forward with renovation plans for the Land O’ Lakes Community Center. We’ll find out more about it.
- What’s going on with the county’s transportation impact fees? – The County Commission wants to change these fees to gain more flexibility in how they’re spent. We’ll check into the issue and see where it stands.
- What’s happening with the Land O’ Lakes pool? – We’ll try to get an update on this issue and see where negotiations stand for keeping the recreation complex’s pool open.
- Just what is LAMECON? – The Land O’ Lakes Library plans a two-day anime and manga convention this weekend. We’ll look into the event and find out why you should attend.
