The day-long event at 21010 State Road 54 in Lutz will feature food, live music, an antique car show, bounce houses, face painting and more, tent collection co-organizer Deborah Gehlen said.

"It's a lot for the kids," she said.

The Pasco Sheriff's Office mounted posse will be there, along with a fire truck and representatives from Pasco Fire Rescue.

Free cotton candy, popcorn and hot dogs will be served up, as well.

The event is designed to promote awareness of the Pasco Metropolitan Ministries tent, the only collection tent in the Land O' Lakes/ Pasco Lutz area.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the free fun, not just church members, collection co-organizer Angela Hobson said. And of course, donations of frozen turkeys, non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys will be accepted throughout the day.

In addition to Saturday's event, the tent at the southwest corner of State Road 54 and U.S. 41 will be open from Nov. 12 through Nov. 21. It will open again Dec. 15 through Dec. 23.

Thursday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m

Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m
