The 6-year-old shepherd mix is friendly, mellow and housebroken, Pasco County Animal Services volunteer Jeff Lipkes said.

For information, contact Pasco County Animal Services at 813-929-1212 and reference animal ID No. D8544. You also can visit the Land O' Lakes shelter at 19640 Dogpatch Lane (Formerly Lake Patience Road).

The adoption fee is $70, plus a $5 tag required for Pasco residents. The shelter accepts cash or checks only.

"For the rest of November, veterans and active-duty military as well as seniors over 55 can adopt animals at half price," Lipkes wrote in a blog post. "Everyone else can also take home a dog or cat at 50 percent off during the Adoption Center's Black Friday Sale, Nov. 20-30."
