Create and Bounce

Find out what's happening in Land O' Lakeswith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  • Where/When: BounceU, 5419 Village Market, Wesley Chapel. Daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Why Go: The kids are home for Spring Break, and you have to work? Don't fret, BounceU in Wesley Chapel hosts its spring camp offering creative art projects and fun fitness activities for kids. Your child will participate in an array of exciting programs such as painting, drawing, and of course jumping on the indoor inflatables. Lunch and snacks are included.
  • Pricing: $40 per day.

  •  Where/When: Land O' Lakes Branch Library, 2818 Collier Pky. Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
  • Why Go: Parents along with their infants ages 0 to 12 months will participate in a variety of fun and educational tasks that promote growth and development. Youngsters will enjoy games, music and storytelling. Seating is limited and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Pricing: Free.

  • Where/When: Barnes and Noble, 28152 Paseo Dr Ste 100, Wesley Chapel. Saturday at 11 a.m.
  • Why Go: Kids of all ages are invited to join Barnes and Noble for its National Storytime, featuring The Very Hungry Caterpillar, written and illustrated by Eric Carle. Activities and crafts will be available following the story.
  • Pricing: Free.

  • Where/When: Land O'Lakes Branch Library, 2818 Collier Pky. Saturday at 2 p.m.
  • Why Go: Youngsters are invited to the library for an afternoon of fairytale themed activities and crafts. 
  • Pricing: Free

  • Where/When: Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex, 3032 Collier Pky. Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Why Go: Spend some much needed quality time with your family at this years Bark-Fest. Whether you plan to check out the animal-friendly vendors or hoping to adopt a four-legged pal, this event has it all. There will be plenty activities for all ages as well as prize giveaways and refreshments. 
  • Pricing: Free!

Telescope Time Machines

  •  Where/When: The Museum of Science & Industry, 4801 E. Fowler Ave. Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Why Go: The museum hosts a special planetarium event for the public where both children and adults will learn about night sky and how ancient civilizations used the stars to navigate.Following the program, enjoy a screening of the "Two Small Pieces of Glass" documentary along with stargazing and hot chocolate on top of the IMAX Dome.
  • Price: Members, $10 per adult; $5 per child under 12. Non-members, $13 per adult; $7 per child under 12.
